The quote above on first glance may seems simple.  But in truth,  taking responsibility for your health, and indirectly your
life, is one of the most difficult things to do in life and also one of the most unattractive ones.  For with responsibility
comes hard work and the loss of the luxury to blame someone.  However, responsibility ultimately offers the greatest prize
of all:  Freedom.

Yoga is defined as the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind.  Simply, yoga is the quieting of the mind.  In his last great
work,
Light on Life, BKS Iyengar, the father of modern yoga, illuminates yoga and its practitioner:

Remember the biblical phrase from Genesis -- "And God's breath moved
upon the waters."  When you ruffle the waters, you create.  You create
everything in the manifest world, from nuclear war to Mozart's symphonies.
The yogi is journeying in the opposite direction, from the world of things
and events, which are so joyful, painful, baffling, and unending, back to
the point of stillness before the waves were ruffled.  This is because he
wants to answer the question, "Who am I?"

Yoga is a 2000 year old practice that has helped millions of people improve their mind, bodies and spirits.  Yoga and I
can help bring you some of the greatest gifts of life: peace, self awareness, health, youth and a connection to spirituality.
Yoga will also help cure anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue,
depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, stress and other conditions and diseases.
In addition yoga will:

However, Geta Iyengar, the daughter of BKS Iyengar, has said that if you are only concerned with the physical benefits of
yoga you are missing it's gold.  This is true.  Although, yoga and I can help you achieve all physical benefits above, lose
weight, build muscles, increase flexibility and cure the body of disease and poor health, these are not the greatest gifts of
our practice together!

Have you ever wondered why you may seem stuck in the same life patterns that have brought you so much pain and
chaos?  According to yoga, it's your lack of self awareness that is causing you to stumble repeatedly in the dark.
Through my work with you, we can start creating a relationship with yourself that you may have never had before.  You
can learn to understand your inner intentions in life and your soul's real purpose on earth.  Once you start your yoga
practice, your life opens up to new doors and possibilities that weren't there before.

I have been practicing yoga for 13 years and it has been a tremendous resource that I will have for the rest of my life and
I am excited to share all I know with you!  Take this step towards health, happiness and freedom.
